Privacy Policy

Last updated October 23, 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit jumicreative.com, contact us or buy our products, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We keep it short and collect as little as we can.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is:

Visualsofjulius Oy (trading as Jumi Creative)
Lempinkuja 5, 21380 Aura, Finland
Business ID (Y-tunnus): 2941901-6
VAT number: FI29419016
Email: contact@jumicreative.com

For any privacy question or request, email us at contact@jumicreative.com.

2. What we process and why

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for profiling, and we make no automated decisions about you.

You do not have to give us any personal data to browse the site. We need your email address to answer you, and your order details to deliver a purchase.

3. Cookies

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and stores nothing on your device for those purposes. That is why there is no cookie banner: under Finnish law (section 205 of the Act on Electronic Communications Services) consent is only needed for storage that is not strictly necessary for the service you asked for. The only cookies on this domain are strictly necessary ones: a login cookie for our private admin area, used only by the site owner and never set for visitors, and a short-lived security cookie that Cloudflare may set to protect the site against bots. Videos load from Vimeo only after you press play, using Vimeo’s “do not track” setting, which tells Vimeo not to track the session or set cookies. Our shop on shop.jumicreative.com (Kajabi) and the Lemon Squeezy checkout use cookies needed to log you in and complete a purchase; their own cookie notices apply there.

4. Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf or as independent controllers:

  • Cloudflare (website hosting, delivery and security, storage of website files and images, and delivery of contact form messages to our inbox).
  • Kajabi (shop.jumicreative.com: checkout, customer accounts and course delivery).
  • Lemon Squeezy (checkout for some products). Lemon Squeezy acts as the merchant of record and processes your payment and tax details as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
  • Payment providers used by those checkouts (for example Stripe or PayPal), which process your payment details.
  • Vimeo (video playback, only after you press play).
  • Google (Google Workspace, our email provider, where emails and contact messages are stored).
  • Our accountant, who sees the order and invoice records needed for bookkeeping.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers outside the EU/EEA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep data

  • Contact messages: up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless they become part of a purchase or support case.
  • Orders and invoices: as long as Finnish accounting law requires (generally 6 years from the end of the financial year, longer for some records).
  • Customer accounts: while your account is active. You can ask us to close it at any time.
  • Technical request logs: a few days, as set by Cloudflare.

6. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email contact@jumicreative.com and we will answer within one month.

If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto, tietosuoja.fi) or the supervisory authority in your own EU country.

7. Our apps

Our Photoshop plugin CarouselCutter has its own CarouselCutter Privacy Policy.

8. Changes

We update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
